It seems that it takes an average of 17 years for research to translate into practice. Many patients, as a result, experience significant delays or never get offered interventions proven to improve health (Morris, Z. S., Wooding, S., & Grant, J. (2011)).

At BTB Rehab we’ve gathered some tools and resources to help our users with their translating practices and needs, hoping that it facilitates clinical decision-making and/or investigations.

It is designed to help users critically appraise the trustworthiness of reviews, randomized and non-randomized controlled trials and interrupted time series in 5 to 10 minutes.

Like any other scientific publication, the trustworthiness of Clinical Practice Guidelines is critical to achieving the right decision and the best clinical results.

To facilitate CPG grading, we have developed a form using the Tripdatabase 8-point scoring system.
